Singapore Breast Multidisciplinary Conference (11-13 October 2024)
Following the success of the Singapore Breast Multidisciplinary Conference 2023 (SBMC 2023), Solis Breast Care & Surgery Centre and Luma Women’s Imaging Centre, in conjunction with the Singapore International Association of Pathologists (SGIAP) are proud to organise the Singapore Breast Multidisciplinary Conference 2024 (SBMC 2024), to be held from 11-13 October at PARKROYAL on Beach Road.
Our theme for SBMC 2024 is “Stronger Together”, highlighting the importance of multidisciplinary management of breast diseases. Over 3 days, apart from the anticipated annual breast pathology course focusing on molecular pathology and cytology this year, highlights of the surgical and radiology tracks include interactive case-based discussions on diagnostic and management dilemmas, as well as challenges of managing DCIS and pregnancy-related breast cancer.
Harnessing the latest developments in surgical and image-guided interventional techniques, we will share on endoscopic mastectomy as well as wire and non-wire breast localisation in our pre-conference workshops. Finally, we will once again hold a full day of multidisciplinary case-based discussions incorporating mini pathology lectures, which has received outstanding feedback in previous editions of our conference.
We are excited and honoured to invite local, regional and international subspecialised breast pathologists, breast surgeons and breast radiologists to be part of our conference faculty. Delegates attending the conference will include surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, their respective trainees and affiliated allied health professionals, mainly from Singapore, South East Asia and the Asia-Pacific Region. The networking sessions will enable delegates to interact and share experiences with other practitioners from around the region.
SBMC 2023 was held successfully, drawing more than 300 participants from Singapore and other countries such as Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam. We also had 30 experts spanning local, regional and international backgrounds, drawing positive feedback from participants and industry partners alike. Read more about how SBMC 2023 went.
